LESSONS

Having learned from some of the best in the business, I understand the importance of having a great teacher. Whether you are new to drumming or an experienced player, there is always more to learn and improve upon.

TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

First and foremost, I believe that fundamentals and technique are paramount. An individual with natural rhythm and poor technique can only progress so far. Mastery of these building blocks is essential in the journey of any musician.

I have been exposed to a plethora of musical styles throughout my career and I attribute my success to this variety. Even if you aspire to be a rock drummer or an orchestral percussionist, having a deep knowledge of musical styles will put you ahead of the curve.

Music should be fun. As mentioned in my bio, I grew up learning fundamentals, but I also spent years enjoying music with friends and family. While we will play to a metronome at times, I also like to use real life musical examples to better connect to the rhythm. I encourage students to explore new music to help engage in their playing and unlock their passion for music.

RATES & POLICIES
