My musical journey began with a rigorous education, including 12 years of study under Jim Munzenrider. This foundation allowed me to hone my craft in diverse professional settings early in my career, playing with groups such as the El Camino Youth Symphony, the CSM Jazz Ensemble, and the high-energy SF Panhandlers Steel Drum Band throughout my twenties.

I am proficient in a broad spectrum of musical traditions, including Rock, Jazz, Latin, Funk, Orchestral percussion, and Musical Theater. Whether laying down a deep pocket for funk, executing complex Latin rhythms, or providing sensitive accompaniment for an orchestra, I bring the right feel and technical skill to every project.

While my foundation is rooted in classical and jazz training, I also possess a deep understanding and passion for the alternative side of music. I have played in numerous Metal and Hardcore bands, giving me the insight and technical prowess required for heavier, more aggressive styles. Having exposure to such a vast range of musical genres, my playing style is defined by exceptional versatility.
